Prayer of Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Just for today, do not worry.
Just for today, do not anger.
Honor your parents, teachers, and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to everything.

PRAYER OF JABEZ
Oh Lord, that you will Bless me indeed
and Enlarge my Territory,
that Your Hand will be with me,
and You will keep me from all evil
that I may not cause or receive pain!
So God granted this request.
Thank you God!
First Chronicles 4:10
Miracles do happen!
I would like to tell you about a miracle that happened to me and I know it involved several angels. I was driving down a street with two lanes on each side and a center turn lane and going about 10 miles over speed limit. I was in the lane next to the turn lane. All of a sudden I saw a young boy about age 13 riding his bike directly in front of my car. He was about a foot from my car when I saw him and I knew I was going to hit him; there was no way out. I closed my eyes so as not to see what would happen to him and I swerved. I realized this was going to badly injure or kill him and totally ruin my life because I would never get over it. Those things all flashed through my mind in that instant. I stopped my car after I served, never having heard the thud I was expecting. Then I saw the boy all the way across the street on the side of the street off of his bike standing and just staring at my car. There is absolutely no other way he would have gotten across two lanes of traffic and away from my car in that instant without the help of angels.
Before that, I thought there were angels to guide us; now I know there are.
“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your continued presence with us. Thank You for Your Almighty wings which cast an impenetrable shadow of protection. Thank You for going before us; and for covering us from behind. Thank You for choosing to be in our midst, for lifting our burdens, and for securing the Heavenly place You have prepared for us.
Your divine Words bring so much hope and comfort to our hearts. Remind us daily of Your strength, and may we always see glimpses of Your infallible glory and blessing as we seek Your face throughout our days. Victory and salvation are found in You alone, Lord. It is in the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

SELF CARE - LETTING GO
And the day came,
when the risk to remain tight in a bud,
was more painful than to blossom!
“I pray for faith that my future will be good if I live today well, and in peace. I will remember that staying in the present is the best thing I can do for my future. I will focus on what’s happening now instead of what’s going to happen tomorrow.”
― Melody Beattie
“Goals give us direction. They put a powerful force into play on a universal, conscious, and subconscious level. Goals give our life direction.” Melody Beattie
“We do not lead others into the light by stepping into the darkness with them.”
“Today, God, help me practice the concept of acceptance in my life. Help me accept myself, others, and my circumstances. Take me one step further, and help me feel grateful.”
― Melody Beattie,
DETATCH and BE FREE
Take an honest inventory of your life.
“If we weren’t trying to control whether a person liked us or his or her reaction to us, what would we do differently?
If we weren’t trying to control the course of a relationship, what would we do differently?
If we weren’t trying to control another person’s behavior, how would we think, feel, speak, and behave differently than we do now?
What haven’t we been letting ourselves do while hoping that self-denial would influence a particular situation or person?
Are there some things we’ve been doing that we’d stop?
How would we treat ourselves differently?
Would we let ourselves enjoy life more and feel better right now?
Would we stop feeling so bad?
Would we treat ourselves better?
If we weren’t trying to control, what would we do differently?
Make a list, then do it.”
― Melody Beattie,
"God has already opened this door for me and created the perfect outcome!"
"Faith is knowing and believing resolve before you see it happen."
“Faith. It does not make things easy, it makes them possible.”
“A man is not called wise because he talks and talks again; but if he is peaceful, loving and fearless then he is in truth called wise.”
GRIEF TO HEALING
The Rose Beyond the Wall
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches straight and tall.
One day a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side.
Now you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted -the Rose blooms there!
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving care.
When I Die,
Give what's left of me to children and old men that wait to die.
And if you need to cry,
Cry for your brother walking the street beside you.
And when you need me, put your arms around anyone
and give them what you need to give me.
I want to leave you something,
better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known or loved,
and if you cannot give me away,
at least let me live in your eyes and not in your mind.
You can love me best by letting hands touch hands,
and by letting go of children that need to be free.
Love doesn't die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away.
SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT
The circles of women around us
weave invisible nets of love
that carry us when we are weak
and sing with us when we are strong.
The Knots Prayer
Please untie the knots that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.
Remove the have nots, the can nots, and the do nots
that I have in my mind.
Erase the will nots,
may nots,and might nots
that may find a home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots,
would nots and should nots
that obstruct my life.
And most of all, Dear God,
I ask you to remove from my mind,
my heart and my life all of the "am nots"
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought
that I am not good enough.

What can one person do?
People are always wondering how they can make a difference in the world. The answer is simple. Be peace, show compassion, and live love.
If each of us stands in our integrity and honesty, we will make a difference in the world. The world reflects us. Make your inner world peaceful and your peace will reflect to family, friends, and community. If you feel alone, remember God and the angels are always near. You are a Beloved Child of the Most Holy God, never alone or forgotten.
When this picture was taken the only people at the river were the man in the picture and the man taking the picture. No, it's not an angelfish. The angels are in the eyes of the beholder! Angels are with us!
